@@jk7878You're most likely right, but it all depends on the definition of "making it"...I was friends with a girl who was a finalist on PopStars and withdrew from the competition because she didn't believe it was the best/right thing for her. She went on to have a successful and fulfilling career in Christian Rock. Not everyone wants/needs to be an icon and I'd argue that's a good thing, especially for such a young girl. I hope she doesn't make it...for now. I hope she wins and then goes back to being a kid and growing up and when she's ready...she can chart her own course. But, I don't think there is any denying that her voice is something special.

There is literally at least one person as good if not better than her in every high school in the USA. She didn't control the high notes she used standard tricks that people use to disguise the inability to hit high notes properly. I mean just look at how many people over the years on AGT there have been that have been as good if not better than her, now multiply that by the people that choose not to audition for AGT because they understand that this isn't the best route to making a career from the music industry. She is a good singer no question about that, but there is nothing unique about her voice., If you compare her to the more famous female vocalists like Beyonce and Taylor Swift you would know they were singing even if it was a new song cause they have unique voices this just blends in with any lead singer of almost any gospel choir in the US.

Not only does she have an AMAZING voice...but it seems a HEALING one also!!!!

Singing like that at 11 years old..?!! Watching her grow up will be so insanely amazing.. I’m invested!

When we say "incredible", "unbelievable", we should feel it like "wonderful", "marvellous" in our hearts and praise Life for children like Maddie and be grateful for the gifts they bring to us. May Love be always with her and her family. I love this show for moments like this.

Scripted or not she had this old man in tears knowing she is so talented and so caring for her dad. The women yelling support was amazing.

Brotha. Singing is so competitive. There are thousands of little girls around the country that can sing like her. It's all about a break more than talent. Talent is a baseline. My sister been singer for years. With a singing couch she has a chance.

This has got to be my favorite audition of any of the talent shows ever. She is so pure in heart and the fact she learned to sing so she could sing to her dad while he was recovering from surgeries or during his chemo is just heart warming. I hope no one ever corrupts her and she just keeps being herself.

I love that we heard her sing before she tell her story of her dad cancer because she is a true star and sometimes I feel like people would get the golden buzzer bc of their story and not bc of their talent. She deserves the golden buzzer! Her voice is beautiful and I am excited to watch her journey on AGT.

Thats actually NOT how she started singing. She started as a young child, she was famous for singing national anthems before sporting events and was quite well known across the Nations. She is already a world famous actress and singer. She has been on multiple TV shows and commercials and even has an album. She is about to have a new show on showtime as well. The who point of AGT is to take unknown talent and give them a chance to have their dreams come true... hers already has... it is pointless and obviously the whole thing was a total set up, and an obvious one at that

@@claireBwiza_4029 I didnt know either, but there was a youtube video about her, and I was shocked at that info, esp since she played a young Selena on a netflix show and she sang all her parts on the show. She has a new Showtime original series just starting. So even though I never heard of her, she is pretty well established and famous.

Her emotion was raw and real. I lost it when she cried talking about her dad's cancer. All the judges should have ran up and hugged Maddie. When her Dad got up on stage, it was obvious he had a limp,/trouble walking. The way she ran to him.....I lost it again. Happy Father's Day Sir. You have an amazingly talented child who absolutely LOVES you. You did well Sir. Great Dad's are few and far between. Enjoy your special day. You deserve it.

I love how the judges actually warmly welcomed her onstage from the audience and didn’t know she was secretly a contestant. She got so much support from the production crew and the audience!

I don't believe that "secretly a contestant" story. Why would she stand inline with the other audience at the entrence? Why wouldn't they have the paperwork ready but need to stop the show for 20 minutes? Why is all footage of the Terry interviews obviously shot after the performance?
