I think he’s always been a good person. He just doesn’t want his time wasted with people who claim to have talent that clearly don’t and that’s understandable when you watch hundreds of people perform all day. Seeing Simon be mean to people on these shows helped the ratings. Now I feel they just edit and air the episodes with good acts only.

I totally agree that Simon has mellowed.

She took what is literally considered the one of most difficult songs in Opera from a technical standpoint far as vocal range, and technique and knocked it into orbit. And she did this at age 9...... remember that!!! And she did it in front of a live audience

Do some research about this child and you will be blown away. She is adopted and home schooled. She has a Guinness world record and can sing in 5+ languages. She is incredible and even though I don’t like the music type.. I am happy that i can say I got to see her at 10 when she was just getting famous. She is going to be a world famous super star.. period the WORLD will know her name and voice!

For those who don't know opera the name of the aria is "Je Peux Vivre" from the opera Romeo et Juliette which was composed by Charles Gounod. This is one of the most difficult pieces for women who are sopranos. This young lady did amazing for her age. As a music teacher I am proud.

I just saw Victory's story on my local news station. She is incredible, her parents are incredible, her entire support system is incredible. I applaud everyone around her. I don't understand why people think that she isn't worthy of a group golden buzzer. When in your life have you seen a child sing that wonderfully in OPERA? This child is very gifted and is very genuine (no sad or "fake" backstory") Keep in mind that she is nine and has been singing opera since she was six, so you won't be getting top of the line opera. That being said, she is taking lessons and learning how to care for her voice and her vocal chords if she chooses ro do harder songs in the future. Wonderful talent! She could take it all!

What an incredible child. She's is super talented, I'm blown away by her voice. WOW!

I wished every child could experience love from a parent like victory has from her parents. That lady stood there 1000% confident in her child. I am not even going to look at these disgruntled ppl, miserable comments, about her being adopted and what not. Many ppl are being abused by their own biological parents, some ppl don’t even have any parents at all. You can see that this young lady is just poised and blessed from every fibre of her beings, surrounded by a group of ppl who loves and cares for her genuinely. Isn’t that what we all want, to be accepted and loved. She’s going to help to change the world. 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤

Wow even a dove came to listen to that angelic voice

She didn't say "I'm so happy" or "I'm so, idk, happy?" instead she unhesitatingly shouted "I'm so thankful!" In the very end and I think that's just so- *speechless*

She literally summoned a bird with her voice, now that is what we call gifted.

This girl is a Disney Princess. She's so beautiful and her voice is more stunning than probably anyone could expect... plus she summons animals with her singing! I love how she's so mature but clearly still enjoys her youth, some kids on AGT seem like they're trying to grow up too fast. Meanwhile Victory doesn't look like she's even had formal training... her voice just seems so effortless! She makes some little mistakes in parts of her technique, i.e. holding in her ribcage, but that just makes her performance that much more impressive. Absolute raw, natural talent. I can't imagine how she'll progress as her voice matures and technique improves. Golden buzzer well deserved.. and I can't wait to see the glittery rainbow shirt she picks out for Simon.

This was not about her; she waited until her daughter had absorbed every ounce of applause and spotlight before she went out on the stage to offer her love. It's obvious Mom had a hand in this, but took NONE of the spotlight. Rare; rare, indeed!

I noticed that too. Part of the reason Victory is so special is because of her. Great parents of 10, and lots of adoptions. Special people.

That's cute that he wants to include Terry. He could have left him out and just had the other judges press it. Simon is really becoming so enjoyable these last few seasons. Maybe his accident? Maybe having a son? He just seems so joyful and fun. Keep being you Simon.

Also mainly all the acts in BGT and AGT now are above his standards. Unlike the initial few series when these shows are full narcissists that actually pissed him off. Now most contestants know what they need in order to at least be on the show.

She's amazing and I cried at the end of the show. She deserved it. ❤

Looking back at this audition, just imagine what this little girl can do 10 years from now!

You can tell how special their mother-daughter relationship is. Before her performance, she looked over at mom. After her performance, she looked over at mom. Then finally after the golden buzzer, she ran towards her mom. What a special moment between the two of them. So happy for this little girl!
