Amazing voice and he seems very genuine,just the fact that his parents obviously couldn't afford to take off work shows that he's had a humble beginning and because of that I hope he makes it big. He's the complete opposite of some pampered kid with vocal coaches and singing lessons. That amazing voice is all him. I will support this kid until the end.

I think he had a quiet inner and strong confidence so didn't need it. He know who he is and what he wants and where he wants to go. I think Simon is a bit struck by him. I have to concur with the many positive remarks about Alfie. I too think he deserved the Golden Buzzer, but having Simon join him on stage and also meeting his Aunt probably meant more than the GB. I’ve heard the judges only have a certain amount of Golden buzzers they can give and maybe there were none left. If they had one available no doubt they would have given it to him. He certainly deserved one.

This is the best singing from a 12 year old I have heard. By that I mean, that kid will have a career, he has a modern voice, not like a lot of kids who come on who have an operatic voice or whatever. Incredible range, belt and carry. I will be watching his rise

The first time I heard Alfie sing this GaGa song it sent chills through my body and its sad he didn't get the golden buzzer but he owned the stage and the night

I loved Simon’s reaction to the kid. I even shed a tear. I like when someone appreciates other someone’s specialness

The way he sang “to tell me you need me.. I see that you’re hurting.. you don’t need to show again..” amazing!!

I listen to Alphie's rendition daily. 67 years young and I have not heard a young man's voice like this. I LOVE checking out the rest of his covers as well.

This 12 year old boy has a powerful voice and was able to convey strong emotions probably beyond his personal experience yet. Funny that Simon kept praising the boy's "cool" look - he just liked that the boy seemed to have the same fashion sense as Simon himself!

This kid knows he’s a really good singer. There are videos of him busking in pedestrian zones in his hometown. He draws big crowds. And my guess is that Simon knew of Alfie’s great singing talent before this “audition.” The song “Hold My Hand” was a fantastic song choice to display the range and intensity of Alfie’s voice. While only 12 at the time of the show, he has unmistakeable star quality. The judges and the studio audience recognized his greatness.

Tears just coming down my eyes slowly. This is the first time am hearing the song.

So much talent packed into a 12-year old's body! I'm always extra happy for the kids who come on AGT and BGT because it is almost always their first public performance in front of such a large crowd. It gives them a big break that might not be available to them at this age.

Its nice to hear a voice that isn't an imitation of another artist for once. Really amazing performance.

My son was a huge talent until his voice broke, you never know what you'll end up with. He still has a pleasant voice, but nothing like the precocious powerhouse he had at 10-14. If these shows had existed back then ,he would have been like this boy. Hopefully , like Billy Gilman, he'll keep this voice.

He's in the top 5, if not the winner. Whatever comes after this doesn't matter This kid's a star!

Amazing for a 12 year old to have such power and range… great vibrato too. What Howie said about what stands between him “and an amazing singing career” though, is true and that reality can be a tough adjustment. Hopefully, he retains these aspects of his talent after the voice change that comes with puberty and if not, hopefully he persists and learns how to use his new voice.

There's so many kid singers in this kind of competition but this one is very good.. He's one of the best i think.. Pitch perfect.. Sings like a pro!!

The excitement in his little voice when he called his people to tell them how good it went!!! 🥺🥺😫 so adorable! & the talent is crazy!

The best 12 year old singing talent I have ever seen. Complete in every way. I wonder why he didn't receive a golden buzzer!!
