It's adorable but actually not that surprising. Pigs are extremelly intelligent creatures, more intelligent than dogs actually so it's no surprise they learned to do all that stuff. It's only surprising because it's unconmmon since pigs are not supposed to be housepets but farm pets since they need the space

We have a potbellied pig (150 lbs) that wandered into our rural backyard (owner abandoned). They are affectionate, loyal, intelligent, sometimes sly (sense of humor) and fastidious (self- housebroken). The like to be petted and scratched and will flop on your shoes and nap. Ours also has a fascination with toes for some reason (because they're also piggies?) and a habit of untying shoelaces. They like music and like getting into and rolling in plastic kiddie pools with a few inches of water in them.

Okay, this was adorable! My favorite part was the baby pig being moved in the carriage by the biggest pig.

Love how we had cats season 13, a rat season 14, and now pigs! Great to have different animals in addition to dogs

Anyone doubting those jumps, I can confirm from experience that they can go at least twice that height. We used to farm pigs and if you got a troublesome one or it was near mating season then even a 6ft fence is not enough to keep them in. Pigs are very smart and not that hard to train to be honest. That does also mean that if you let them learn bad habits thy learn those fast too tho.

I got to watch the pork chop revue at the fair yesterday!! So cool

I’ve seen them preform at my state fair, after I competed in the youth novice 50-74 cm show jumping! I got four ribbons and second and first place! Anyways the pork chop revue is amazing!

Cute. I love pigs 🐽. I want to own one someday to be a part of my family.

If you are amazed by their inteligence, remember that they also feel the same things we do. I'm not gonna say "stop eating meat" but if possible demand that the meat you buy comes from a place where people care about the welfare of these animals. If you are going to eat meat anyway at least eat one from an animal that had a happy life and not from one that was forced to live in pain, sadness and desolation.

Pigs' live span on average is 10-12 years, although they can live up to 20 years. Pigs are butchered at 6 months old. US don't consume a lot of pork actually because of heightened consumer awareness that pigs are intelligent animals. The biggest consumers are China, Spain, and Germany. We don't need pork for food.
