She’s been recording albums for over 20 years. I’ve been buying them. She’s been in mainstream radio for years and toured with Nancy Wilson from Heart and basically took Ann’s place. I’m not sure why she was on this show. I’m truly wondering if it was just a promotional tactic since she is already a well established musician

​@@buddah610, I agree with you on the one hand; it doesn't seem fair for established professionals to be on shows that are supposedly meant for undiscovered amateurs. But on the other hand, even though she's established as a long-time performer, she's not achieved superstar status, so she's still looking for that BIG break like all performers do. I've not heard of her and I'm sure there are many who haven't heard of her. And speaking as a singer (amateur), I would definitely take advantage of an opportunity like this for national exposure. So even though it doesn't seem exactly fair to me, I still say good for her for going for it. How's that for a divided opinion? 😂

For those who don't know, Liv wasn't just on stage with Prince. She's very well known among Prince fans. She was on stage with him for the last 5 or 6 years of his life. He mentored her. He encouraged her to record her own music, including writing 2 songs on her album The Unexpected (including the title track).

Yes! I was worried when I saw those trombones lined up behind her and the mic. Like, man, she either better be a powerhouse, or them 'bones better have some killer control. Was pleasantly surprised that it was a yes to both!

Every single person in that band would get a golden buzzer on their own. They were all AMAZING! 🤩

So I’ve been listening to Liv Warfield since I was 14 years old I’m 32 years old now. She really has been doing this a long time, proud of her on God for getting her recognition ❤💯

IMO I was not expecting that at all from her after seeing how calm she was in the beginning, she deserves the golden buzzer!

That was someone that made the “record producer” Simon break character. He’s usually this panel show villain character, but he was and is a huge record producer, this immediately made that part of him light up. I’m sure she’s already getting calls from his contacts.

This is the best musical performance I've ever seen on Got Talent, honestly, no sob story just pure passion, dedication and showmanship.
