I'm not a country fan at all..but this guy is great. He's a showman. His voice is golden...hope he goes very far in this career.

Drake is awesome! ❤ Probably the best new country artist in a very long time. Loved him from the minute I heard his voice. Just can’t believe that he is still in his 20’s! He is an old school voice with modern styling. His songwriting is amazing. ❤

Such a humble young man, I hope he stays that way. He's one of the few country stars who actually sings country music.

@@karenthornton8356 My dear Karen, I do not need to know the man's background, history or whatever to be able to hear that the lyrics and his voice are not that great and it is a personal taste to which I am entitled to :) As to me not knowing Country music, that is a comment you make because you do not know me. In fact, I had the pleasure to meet the King of Country himself at his Cowboy Rides Away Tour, at the XL Center in Connecticut in 2013. He is my personal favorite followed by Kenny Chesney, Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw .. I do know Country music well enough to distinguish the good from the not so good (bad). Have a good one :)

You need to download his album last year that has 14 songs and every one is a hit. Album called Dallas/Fort Worth. No lying they are great, plus Ronnie Dunn & Tim McGraw both recorded two of his songs he cowrote. I don't like country music, but I could listen to him day and night and I actually do!!!

There’s no rule that says we have to embrace a whole music genera to be fans of individual artists in a genre that doesn’t fit our dominant tastes. That non-country people comment to say they LOVE this song & Drake’s voice, speaks to how Drake’s sound is stand-apart exceptional, such that non-country music fans are qualifying the exception of their enjoyment of a country song. The way I look at it, a song can be more than just another typically-popular, dime-a-dozen, CMT-winning, mass-produced, but enjoyably fun song, when the artist has a unique quality that stands out, can’t be ignored, & affects people no matter what else they may usually listen to. Johnny Cash has that affect on me, as does Garth Brooks, & some others, but each for different reasons. And, here it comes😉, country isn’t my #1 genre, either, but there’s plenty, going back through the decades, that stand out for me. Now I have another one❣️

@@halenfriedland9185 ditto. Yrs ago I date took me to a Garth Brooks concert in Dallas in 93 and that song was the only song I knew because I didn't listen to country music. But I like Drake Milligan's country and some of the 90s country. I do remember coming away from that concert thinking this is the only country guy I have seen that entertains and but on a show like Elvis Presley did in Vegas days!! That''s how I met a 7 yr old Drake Milligan yrs ago when he was doing Elvis ETA stuff and been following him since. He's grown into an incredible singer, performer and songwriter!!! All of his songs are just fantastic!!
