@@raymorris104 You're right. I was pissed when Billy Gilman didn't win The Voice a few years ago but I thought about the same thing then. It's better not to win, but come in 2nd. Most of them are doing great but so far Kelly and Carrie are the crown jewels for Idol. My favorite will always be David Cook, and for The Voice, I adore Girl Named Tom. They don't need any help, they have their own studio and if they want, all 3 can return to college to become doctors as they were doing when their dad became ill with cancer. He passed away in 2017 after all 3 kids had moved back home for family time while they still had him.

@@Melly484 Ray is right. When you win, you sign a contract which is something like being sentenced to prison for a year because what you're doing is not what YOU necessarily want to do. I do have to disagree about the dancers. I am NEVER impressed by dancers or pet acts, but when that group danced the 2nd time, I paid attention, I was really impressed by their precision.

Very well done. They will be signed to a record deal for sure. Great choice to do a original song. I hope they continue doing their own music through the entire competition. Last time I saw a band like this on a competition show was Sawyer Brown. Good luck to your friend and his band in the rest of their careers. God Bless them with talent. His showmanship is on another level compared to most popular male artists today. His experience with impersonating Elvis really comes through. I love it! And the fact that he's not just another cover artist but is a songwriter and has a band makes all the difference. What a star. Hope he makes it huge in country music.

That's what I was thinking too. I was a little disappointed with the judges reaction. They called the song just "really good". That song was PERFECT, and he performed it PERFECTLY. He's already there. He's a professional just waiting for the right opportunity to come along. I don't think anyone could suggest one thing he could have done better. Flawless!

They save the gold buzzers for the feel good acts with sob stories.

The harmonising from the rest of the band made the song too. They WORK as a band. Brilliant.

He and his band should be signed to a record label. Excellent voice, great sounding band and a potential top 10 country song.

I love that he sang country, and an original song at that! Not many country songs get on got talent and it’s sad because they have so much potential. So glad to hear he’s still making music despite not winning on this show

Generally, they give Golden Buzzer to a complete surprise or a great back story. In fact, Drake doesn't need that. This performance alone will change his life. Country music stations are going to get flooded with calls. The song will fly up the charts. He could sign with a bigger label. (With BBR now) And he's a headliner in two weeks. He's been kicking around for years and starred as Elvis in "Sun Records" on CMT in 2017. But this is his breakout song.

Most of those shows are looking for stories not just a voice. All it takes is one opportunity to help get your name out there. This was so professional - I don't just love him, but the whole band too! They sounded so tight, so right, please stay together y'all! So much fun packed into a couple of minutes. You guys oughta get a CMA for best new artist! One of the best things about music in the 60s was all the bands. I've been missing that in music, and I didn't even realize how much until I heard Drake & his band. They deserve a cool band name, because these guys are badass! That drummer is special. Drake Milligan is a country music up and coming rising star singer who’s gonna be added to the list as his music a career progresses over time. You are correct but he's better off without the Golden buzzer because it means that he's able to perform more of his songs in front of 12 million people who watch AGT and potentially buy his recordings.

I'm not really a country fan but, these guys redefine what it takes to be a true artist. Make people come to you. Elvis did it, the Beatles did it, and they're doing it! I guess I have to start listening to country music. Well done guys!

unfortunately most dont realize an artist must be willing to sell their soul to the devil via the occult globalist record label, regardless of genre: Rock, Country, Rap, etc. Hollywood as well. to be a "star" often costs one's soul. sad but true

A young man travels to Nashville, it was around 1985. He pitched a couple of songs to a record label and they turned him not once, but three times. This young man traveled back home to Oklahoma where he was from. After spending time at home he traveled back to Nashville and was heard at the bluebird Café one night by the same record label executives that turned him down. They immediately wanted him to come back in, and he did the song he was singing when he was discovered was “the Dance”, which is a song that he didn’t even write. They signed the young man to a short term deal, however he immediately took off, the young man was Garth Brooks and the rest is history.

it takes one song or one person to completely change everything you thought you knew.

The song is 100% a hit song. Check out his playlist on KZread. He has 5 songs that are all fantastic. What the hell is any record company waiting for? Drake and this band are fantastic and you can see they have great chemistry. The fact he was an Elvis impersonator when he was a young teen and chose his own path thereafter is great. He throws in just enough Elvis remnant without looking like he is trying to be Elvis. Quite refreshing and tribute paying to Elvis in my opinion without overdoing it. Perfect!

He is signed to BBR Music Group already. This is mainly just to promote his music to grow his audience. He also played Elvis on a CMT show called Sun Records.

OMG! He sounds great! He is the next country music artist going straight to the top! I'm literally sweating. He sounds that great. He truly is one of God's gifts.

Great preformance. I hope this young man does good everywhere he plays. He has lots of talent !

Now that's a country music singing voice! Howie is right. This is a hit song and a sure fire star! The band, especially the drummer, was top notch! Love how he incorporated some Elvis gyrations in his performance to get the girls excited!
