it’s more than likely because they didn’t have a backing track this performance and haven’t strengthened their voices yet to match their high energy choreography

They had a rocky start, but they pulled it together. By the end they sounded like a completely different group. I don’t know if they let nerves get the better of them, or if there was technical issues behind the scenes, I’m just glad they were able to recover.

It was the mics!!! The sound guy completely messed up their performance. Brooklyns mic was too low when she belting & there were just sound issues for the entire first half. Stinks would have loved to hear them perform once more!

@@robingarvin-mack doing well! Hoping for another live performance of this soon where they have everything balanced properly for the girls. You can really hear the difference in the Instagram posts of rehearsals (where Team Siwa had control over sound)

I think what they do is very hard, that Choreography was a lot to combine with singing. I think they are going to go far (whether it's on AGT) or as concert performers for kids. Their target audience, which is the under 12 crowd (even though I, as an adult find the tunes catchy lol) will love them.

I just want to take a second to appreciate Bella and how much she has improved! She sounded amazing, you go girl!

They did great! The rapping part blew me away! Brooklyn held onto those notes really well.

Brooklyn's mic was really quiet through the whole performance! But it seemed like there was some balancing problems between mics and music, and also some breathy-ness (as expected due to dancing and singing obviously.) Honestly hope they get a chance to come back, but they were amazing and will go far either way!

coming from someone who’s both a k-pop stan and a sing/rap/dance performer, i feel like everyone who’s hating just doesn’t know how hard this is. it’s virtually impossible to be right on those notes 100% especially since your lungs are working overtime, but everyone was a good amount of stable for the most part. even the best k-pop idols have a soft vocal track in case they need to catch their breath; it’s a disservice to the girls who had one during their audition, but for some reason the producers decided to pass up on it for their semi performance, especially when their choreography has acro/big movements that can wind athletes. for their age and experience level, they did amazing :)) it’s not their time yet, since their music is still a niche and they’re still a kids group, but if they keep this up, they’ll rise with the other girl groups when they’re older!!

definitely. I feel like there was a track at the back but it was so soft, actually. If anything, NO ONE would be able to pull all these acro tricks/dancing/running WHILE singing live 100%

Bella’s dance moves in the beginning is everything

It is SO hard to Sing and perform at the same time so I couldn’t imagine having to do backflips and all kinds of tricks while belting to the top of your lungs all while in front of BIG NAME celebs like Simon cowell etc etc. That being said- no it wasn’t their best vocals but they can PERFORM their butts off! In due time they will be superstars! All in all this was still a VERY captivating performance and I couldn’t be more proud of these UBER TALENTED girls! 💕🫶🏽

@@I_WANT_MY_SLAW people care because the criticisms are directed to the wrong people. is it the girls'fault they didn't perform well? partly. but it's not their fault that their choreography was not helping and that critique should go to jojo who choreographs for them. people say they can't sing and dance at the same time which is untrue because they can but no human can do that when their choreography looked like what it did in this performance. It's a valid criticism but directed at the wrong people

@@fiveh3340 I think the choreography wasn't what messed them up. They have done even harder choreography on the show and on their youtube channel yet they always seem to pull it off. The sound guy is the one that messed them up and you can tell because this isn't the first time.

There was an audio issue at the beginning but they still put on a great performance! We love you girls! 👑

Oh jeez, these poor kids. They’re so talented, if you check their channel they recently had a performance where their music cut out entirely and they nailed it. They are 100% capable of performing without backup music, tonight just wasn’t it. Some of it was the mics, some of it was that they were trying to do too much in one performance (this was a massive step up from any of their other numbers, all of which they were nailing), and some of it was just bad luck. Every performer has a few bad nights and it’s heartbreaking that their bad night was on live television. (To be clear: they still did better than I ever could, to say nothing of everyone making fun of them in the comments. Please get a hobby besides kicking preteens while they’re down.)

I am a Sound Engineer, as well as a musician, composer and performer. And the path of Music...is a long, long path. The decision to continue on it ... or get off at any curve. And to continue the normal life, before having penetrated in the sound, the composition and the interpretation. To criticize these girls...is to ignore that there is going to be a contest of singers and musicians, regulated by 4 judges. It is not a paid show, in a live stadium. Errors are allowed...and are evaluated with a "yes"...or a "No"...and that's it!

I think these girls are great and have a lot of energy BUT I believe that they've been privileged enough to work with JoJo Siwa, and have the opportunities she can give them. I love their act but I would choose any of the other acts to win, as there are people who actually need this as their make or break opportunity. If these girls don't win, they'll still have the exposure of the show AND JoJo to mentor and promote them.

that rap part gave me spice girls vibes. the 90s group i grew up with as a kid. I never thought I would see that again in a girl group ever. One of the members Mel B (Scary Spice) rapped a lot on the first two albums. But the third album was a bit more serious and mature, and that reflected more mature rapping. but still this performance of this new girl group of Jojo's brought back good memories.

What I love about Jojo is that she took what she learned from Abby and used it. Abby banked on Maddie always being the star, and therefore always put her in the middle. Jojo's choreography switches them up so you can focus on all of them instead of just one.

AMAZING!!

The outfits were cute, the lyrics were creative, and I loved the rap solo. Great job!

Yesssss!! This is incredible!!!! They did amazing and the rap was amazing!!! I like how they rapped a chorus after then went back into the actual chorus that was super cool!

Amazing!!! Singing and dancing is HARD work!! I tried it when I was younger and I had to stop dancing because I was out of breath. Love the sparkles and the love they showed on the stage! Love you girls!!!!!

Dallas’s part really added to it in my opinion. I’m also so glad that Bella got more singing in this she deserves it. also Kinsey’s singing has improved so much from the show. I feel like the ant sound people messed up the background track noise and their mics. They are so good they don’t deserve to have their mics off. Maybe it was a mistake. I don’t know.

Personally, IM NOT HATING. I just think some of the girls should not be given super high long notes. Give them high notes but don't drag it out that's when the voices start to get a little shaky

the INTRO & outro for me was a stand out 🤩🤩🤩

I can’t get enough of this song they were amazing. More and more I listen to it the less I can tell the music over powered them in spots but after the few times it sounded great!!

It's their first time performing this and they did great! There are so many good moments. (I loved Tiny's rap part, Brooklyn and Dallas nailed it and I'm so happy to see Bella singing a solo).

Im really looking up to what they're gonna be in future. All of them have the potential to be rockstars and maybe it was to much . Maybe if they focus in ether singing or dancing it would've been better but despite everything they are amazing and have such a long way to go

very true. they had a rocky start, but Dallas' part was one of the strongest parts in the song tbh. I replay it a lot because despite having only one solo part, she put all her sass and attitude into it. It helped slow the performance down, show off her vocals, and after that the girls just got better and better

I agree she did kill her part! Her part is one of my faves in this performance to be honest. She conveyed so much attitude in her only solo. She could've done the "the greatest fashion!" Kinley did because Kin just finished mini rapping, but to be fair, Kinley KILLED that part. Maybe Dallas isn't quite ready for bigger parts in performances with so much choreo? Either way, she deserves more! She has proven herself AGAIN that she's reliable when it counts

Not my everyday tune but these girls did a good job!

I think everyone has got it in their heads that you have to be great to do something you love. You really don’t and encouraging that mindset is stopping people from following dreams and expressing themselves truly. By the way, I’m not saying these girls aren’t great. I think they’re talented and entertaining. This comment is just in response to some other comments I’m reading.

I think for only being 10, Dallas (lights camera action solo) really held her own and her vocals were one of the better ones for this performance I know she only had the one part but what she did was good! Same goes for Bella she has very much improved from where she was a year ago, Tinies rap was also great them 3 girls where the stand outs in this performance. The others weren’t as good as everyone knows they have been and can be whether it was mics, nerves, too much going on etc it just wasn’t their best vocals and they’re all really good it’s a shame there was some mic and tech issues making it harder to hear some parts and being a bit off. I’m not hating at all, I just thought it was only fair to give a shout-out to Bella, Dallas and Tinie who really stood out and don’t get the credit!!

Dallas definitely deserves more credit. Besides Brooklynn and Bella who had ad libs, hers was the only solo that wasn't really "chanting" singing. So technically speaking, in terms of singing (NOT chanting), she was one of the best in THIS performance. Just one part but wow she blew me away. She was the only one who put some kind of attitude in her part at the start (by the second half they all did good) but that's probably because the others' parts at the start were SO fast-paced

Used all my ten votes for them! They were really good! Nobody is perfect and I think everyone is too harsh when things aren’t “perfect”! I’m sorry but nobody is perfect! They were good! They danced so well and were very much in sync with one another! The vocals are really good as well but the mics were off because they were in a different sound wave but they still kept going and didn’t let that bother them! They each shines! I can’t wait to see them move on to the next round!
