This performance was PERFECT and I really have some issues with the official release of this song. They totally cut out the girl in the background singing “I can hear the tears coming from my daughter” which is so powerful! And they cut out her bass riff at the end of the song which hits the perfect ending note. If it’s not broken, don’t fix it!

I never tire of watching this. I don’t have cancer, but I have Alzheimer’s so my time is running out. So it is so important every moment I spend with my family. GOD BLESS

I miss my mom so much. She had a stroke 2 weeks into her trip while she was out of country taking care of my grandma who has dementia. I didn’t get to say goodbye and only arrived in time to disconnect her. I begged on my knees for her to wakeup I told god take my arm or my leg or my eyes. Watching her pulse fade slowly and her color change. I died that day too. It’s almost a year in August. Now it’s just my brothers and I with my dad. I take care of them now and I’m only 23.

You never get over losing your Mom, ever. I lost mine when I was 3 1/2 years old. That was 56 years ago this May. Miss her everyday. I have 1 memory of her but its a great memory, so I am blessed with that. I wish this family all the best. Hang in there and God Bless.

Unfortunately they had probably used all of the golden buzzers by then. They were probably one of the last groups to audition but they put them on tv first. They just record all these acts and then edit them into the show to make it flow better

I know this may sound bad but I don't mean anyone to take this the wrong way. If your mother didn't pass then no one would have ever got to hear this beautiful heart felt song. My dad passed away with cancer 15 days before my 1st son was born. There is nothing more painful than loosing a loved one. Thank you for this song and thanks on behalf of everyone it's touched including myself. ❤

Paul Hutchinson: so deeply sorry for your loss & pain,but I'm sure your Dad is watching over the balconies of HEAVEN & will forever be in the heart of your soul forevermore I'm right there with you cause I & our foster sister were ONLY 3 short yrs away from graduating high school when our mother figure passed of ovarian & then our foster father gets sick & dies of lung Cancer after 40 yrs of smoking we lost him 12/6/1998 & then sadly enough a short 9 yrs later our fosterbrother Steve does of a cancerous brain tumor out in Albuquerque NM V.A. Hospital now it's just our BLIND sister & I left to face this world best we can!😭💔🕯️

I have 3 beautiful children now, think they were a gift for all the bad stuff that was happening. I feel your pain bro. Yous have each other and that's what's important. And even tho you may think yous are on you're own just remember you are never alone. Keep you're head held high as thats what you're family would want you to do. Enjoy life, take risks and live without regrets. Life is way to short, and sadly too short for alot of unlucky people. I went to high school with this amazing family, and they are all so kind and genuine. Always smiling and willing to help anybody. Their mother had to have been a fantastic woman to raise such wonderful children.

Not really, music is a way to communicate feelings without actually speaking. Perhaps they wished to celebrate their mother's legacy, or perhaps they wished to show the entire world their mother. It, in no way, looks like they're 'cashing in' on their mother's death.

I use to watch this performance everyday when it first came out. I haven’t listened to it in about a year and I didn’t realize how much of an affect it would have on me. I lost my grandma in 2020 and I couldn’t get through the song without breaking down thinking about her. This song hits so different now, I use to cry because of how beautiful it was but now I have something in common.

I have fell in love with We Three. This song makes me cry every time. Their music speaks to a lot of different emotions. I can’t imagine losing your mom at 19 (the youngest) and writing a song from your dying mom’s POV. Not to mention their song Sara about suicide it’s just beautiful and sad at the same time.

Lost my dad to lung cancer, a year after that my step dad past away and my mom 5 years later to breast cancer. So this touches my heart. 😪

I cried watching the drummer, his face says it all.

I’m honestly surprised this didn’t get a golden buzzer! This is one of the best and most emotional performances I’ve seen! I guess the blessing of them not getting it is the fact that we get to hear more of them throughout the show!

Okay I'll be perfectly honest, coming into this I thought this would be yet another mediocre band/musician who only goes through because of their sob story - but boy was I mistaken! I was SHOOK! I lost my father to sudden heart attack, his identical twin, my fave uncle, to AIDS and have lost an aunt to horrific ovarian cancer. This song is the most special song I have ever heard and I can't stop listening to it. It makes me think about all of the loves I have lost, even ones that didn't go to cancer. Everyone has been effected by cancer at some point in life, I have zero doubts this song has moved the souls of mass millions.

I watched this years ago and balled my eyes out. I kept going back to this video a couple times before but somehow forgot about it. Now, I stumbled upon this video again, and it's been a year since we lost our mom due to cancer. Hearing this today, I truthfully understood how it felt for them. They took their sadness and grief and made it into a beautiful song. Thank you, We Three, for making this.

My moms currently dying of stage four lung cancer. She went to urgent care about a month ago thinking she had covid. It’s already spread to her lymph nodes. I just can’t imagine life without her.

This song is absolutely heartbreaking. My best friend lost her mum to breast cancer and it destroyed the family. She was such a wonderful woman who would do anything for anyone. F**k cancer.

My wife's mother passed away from cancer (I never got to meet her because she passed 2 weeks after my wife and I first met). My wife was so empty inside that she never got a good cry out. A few tears here in there but that was it. I played this video for her and she lost it. I stopped the video and she told me to keep it going. It's just what she needed.

Lost my dad to cancer at a young age. This literally describes how it went. He even said the whole “ I have to move up north” which was Stanford Hospital. Thank you for this❤️💜❤️
