GlobetrotterBR I agree. Although the winner was great. He did all covers. Benicio wrote songs and the music. His voice, carisma(doc) and undeniably deep caring soul will take him farther and longer than anything. Will be watching for more from him. Washington must have some great water. Benicio, Brandi Carlile and the twins to name a few and they all seem like great down to earth people.

Rejection per se is part of the journey of singing to the public! I have no doubt this young man will be a major influence in music for his lifetime! The AGT final top five was so amazingly NOT a true reflection of the talent we had witnessed!

So I read that the winner does not get the million dollars all at once but $25k per year spread out over 40 years before taxes, Or the cash option of the annuity value of 150 - 200k. Benicio can make that with 1 performance.

To me the votes were fixed. agt is talent show not a life hardship show $$$. Benicio is the whole package. Song writer & an addicting beautiful voice.It was not right what they did. Wonderful to hear a singer sing naturally without auto tune. I heard some pitch issues in some songs but it worked. I look forward to following this young man's career outside of AGT, and watching him become a very handsome man. Love that hair! He will be better off for not winning AGT. He will become a star on his own. Actually he is already a star and hopefully he will be signed by the right record label.
