The paper in the can was glued inside, hence, he is giving Simon the paper he has been holding in his right hand the entire time. Some awkward movements, but overall the act was done pretty smoothly!

@@mazza1933 starting at 3:12 you see his right hand grabbing on to the chair for quite some time. I can only think of: his assistant backstage wrote all the answers on the spot and put it there while setting up the chair. But idk, you’ll have to ask him :p Im only guessing at this point haha

Technically, he can do that, but the effect will not be that strong since the judges and the audience didn't remember the correct order of the colors that Simon said earlier.

That was a slip by design. He wants you to think that it's merely him convincing Simon, when the reality of the trick is much more simple.

There is no printer on him. Notice the second chair placed for him when he seats Sofia, the printed paper was placed behind it and he grabs it & hides it in his back pocket ..

These types of acts, are my absolute favorite!

If you pause at 7:35 you can see that hes already picking the piece of paper from under the table (as if someone is handing it over to him). And at the end, as he takes out the paper from the can, he only flips the can and shows us the paper which was already in his right hand and askes Simon to read it and moves from there. its all done very swiftly! Nice!

A little more simple than that. The chair was never on the stage at the start. Someone simply brought it out with the paper on the back after the first part of act was completed.

The only part I'm confused about is on how he wrote it down. But he clearly had to get those answers after he asked them. You can see that the paper that was inside the can wasn't the one he gave to Simon, that was just sleight of hand and probably got it from his pocket.

all the cans are separated in half, half is the pork thing, half is pineapple. depending on simon's selection, he will uncap the bottom or the top of the can, which you would not have any idea which side is up and down, as he colored them evenly, no labels. at 5:33 if you pause the video you can see that the pork mixture bottoms out but its nowhere near the bottom of the can, its right in the middle. watch for yourselves ! and the piece of paper was in his right hand from 7:12 and the blank paper in the can is glued to the bottom of the can so when he "takes it out" it stays in the can and the piece of paper he took out at 7:12 looks like its the one in the can. Now for the paper, at 3:20 you see him grab that back of the chair that was brought in after the segment with the 3 judges, the piece of paper was written on the spot and stuck on the back of that chair which was then brought on scene (it wasnt there in the beggining before the segment with the 3 judges if you look closely) then just keep your eye on that right hand and back of chair and you see him slide the piece of paper in his pocket as he walks towards sofia. pretty bad hand work. just rewatch carefully when the chair appears (after the segment) and the piece of paper is written in the back by his assistant backstage.

@@megaxboxx ok, i mean. magic always has a trick to it. everything has an explanation HOW. but i still voted for him because he was entertaining and i would personally have never thought of it. idk how much time you spent observing but many people wouldn’t notice that straight away. sometimes, not everything needs an explanation and when it comes to magic, ppl just admire the work they normally put in. but if you really want to observe every close detail, then can you explain how he found out what was in the cans of the judges? he’s not wearing headphones or earplugs where there is someone telling him what’s inside the cans. like there isnt anyone telling him what it is bc he didn’t have headphones or earplugs on. also, your explanation is very similar to the article i found on google (thefocus.news). just admire the work he put in bc magic has tricks to it and he worked hard to entertain the audience (which he did) so you dont have to copy and paste that on every single comment supporting peter. if ppl want the explanation, they can try to figure it out themselves.

I’m kinda bored of the whole “judges pick a random thing and then it appears somewhere later in the act” type of magic acts, we’ve seen this kind of stuff a million times now but in a slightly different way

When I was in college the go to prank would be that you sneak into a friends kitchen and tear off all the labels and all their food would rot and they'd die. And it was all in jolly good fun.

I didn’t like the trick because we would automatically assign the colour yellow to pineapple unconsciously. Although I see below that the cans were half pineapple and half the port stuff

I picked the yellow can straight up because it's the same colour as pineapple 🍍.

This was the easiest trick to expose. :-) Even without watching the tutorials on KZread, it was easy to guess how he did it.

Yes, this kind of magic act (picking the only good item out of 4 identically looking items that also contain 3 bad items) has been done to death. But to his credit, he's also done other things in his act, although one still can argue they have been done before.

All four cans are trick cans. It really didn't matter which color he chose.

they are most likely double sided cans but the damn camera cut off when he casually flipped it over to open the bottom. all cans have pineapple and pig guts

He asked question first before guessing. Means he already knew the can list and guess based on the answers.

While he asks them what their favorite food is, he has his right hand in his rear pocket (writing the notes for the end of the act). At the end of the act, he has glued paper on the bottom of the can. So he flipped a can like he tossed out the paper, but in reality, he just handed over the previously written notes to Simon from the rear pocket.

That’s not how it was done. At the start of the act, there was only one chair on stage by the table. An offstage assistant wrote down the judges info on the card, folded it, attached it to the back of the chair, and brought it on stage just before Peter and Sofia came to the table. You can see Peter cup the note from the back of the chair and put it in his pocket. Later, the note “in the can” was attached to the inside bottom of the can, and never came out. He took the note from his pocket, pretended to dump the note from the can, and then handed the note from the chair to Simon.

​ @Bill Verkuilen yeah it's true. So I guess he has his hand in the rear pocket while he talks in order to get a signal (from the assistant you mentioned) which can the judges picked. Some sort of Bluetooth device which vibrates. It could be like 1 vibration = corn can, 2 vibration = tomato can etc...
