I went to one of his shows last week in Wisconsin and can tell you he is a hell of a showman, quite funny, and he picked me randomly out of the audience and said things he could never know. No idea how he does it but it's great!!

Yeah I wonder what he will reveal about Simon too.

Peter is SO talented, and he’s absolutely right, Simon is incredibly impatient. ALL magic acts take time unless they are slight of hand. I personally find the build up exciting, and I hope others do too. That was so fun and Peter is amazing.

Simon is NOT impatient. Magic acts aren't supposed to be boring and dull for 5 minutes until something mildly entertaining happens. It needs to be engaging the entire time so people stay fully focused on what's happening. If you get bored and look away, the big pay off at the end goes unnoticed

I think Simon wanted to see how Peter would react under pressure. Hitting the "X" did slightly shift his energy, but he quickly regained focus. I've had the opportunity to attend one of Peter's live performances. He truly is gifted.

You're not supposed to need patience for an 8 minute magic act lol. The first 6 minutes isn't supposed to be boring and dull just because something sort of entertaining is going to happen in the final 2 minutes. It's just like a stand up comedian... if the set up is boring then the punchline won't land.

I think he really wants Sara to win; which is definitely understandable because she’s certainly a star; but there’s SOOO much talent in this all stars show it’s unbelievable. I’m glad he gave his golden buzzer to the funny comedian (GAHH can’t remember his name!)-as Simon has only REALLY liked a few comedians I’m the US over the years (of course the names are lost in my brain but I’ll come back and edit when they find their way to my conscious brain lolol)

For all of you complaining about Simon... magic is no different than stand up comedy. If the set up to the joke is boring or uninteresting then the punchline won't land. You can't spend 5 minutes doing next to nothing and expect people to be amazed at the last minute of the trick/joke. The set up is actually more important than the punchline. No matter how good the punchline is it won't matter if people were bored to death during the set up.

I sometimes question Simon's taste in talent or perhaps his motives. He gives the golden buzzer to a mediocre comedian performance and x's a decent psychic act. I don't think this performance deserves the golden buzzer, but it definitely didn't deserve an x.

I can see it being kinda slow, but at the same time, he's kinda entertaining

I think he does have an amazing showmanship despite what Simon says (haha, “Simon Says”). As a variety entertainer especially on in vaudeville entertainment, showmanship is just an expressive way to be in your performance character while maintaining engagement from the audience. Peter’s story with his aunt and the fluidity between each volunteer trick is so outstanding and matches his eerie energy with being a psychic.

Such a sceptic look that Simon has, almost as if he's think "what a lot of bs"

The secret message by Howie was just a way of tricking the audience in believing it's unrehearsed. All three questions and answers were rehearsed. (Spoiler) There is no such thing as magic. I know a number of card tricks that wold blow your mind. That's all they are. "Tricks". That's what this guys did. "Tricks" not 'Magic".

I love magic, but when you spend 6 of your 8 minutes doing nothing the big reveal at the end isn't nearly as satisfying. It's kinda like "that's it? I waited that long for that?" 🤣🤣🤣
