I now know for sure what the dance moves represent after I read an interview with one of The Mayyas. Nadim started the dance with a stunning wedding dress, that turned into a cedar tree (symbol of Lebanon), then a dove of peace 🕊, then an egg that hatches and is reborn representing female empowerment! What a genius performance

All their performances have symbolic meaning embedded into them and that’s what makes them even more attractive. The semifinal was about the symbolic of the story of how the snake tempted Adam and Eve. Btw, in the Islamic version Eve did not tempt Adam, they were both tempted by a snake and the both ate the forbidden fruit, and hence the dark side prevailed.

@@hdd1977m7 I'm not Islamic and I live in North America in Texas which is in the USA. The version I'm learning is the NIV version but it also says a snake came along and tempted Adam and Eve into eating the Forbidden Fruit. Idk what the snake is called or who it's referred to as in other versions, but mine is know as a snake like creature (Most likely a Serpent) claimed to be Satan (The devil). I'm very interested in learning about other cultures too. It all just seems interesting to learn about. Don't you think?
Their performance was outstanding, amazing and had a touch of their Lebanese culture with a mix of Arab heritage, and Indian moves. Nadim Cherfan who created this all-female group only 4 years ago is a genius. He is also their choreographer. The snow-capped Cedar tree represents Lebanon, and all the girls from various religions & backgrounds uniting under it is a great theme for all Lebanese to unite under one flag. It shows the depth and their ability to execute a variety of complicated dances. The composer and producer of all their original music is a Lebanese Armenian, Harry Hedeshian, who lost everything in the Beirut Port Blast. Also remember the dance team consists of 36 talented dancers who only had 5 days to practice for this! They are 💯% ready for Las Vegas 🏆👏

They actually said in local tv interviews that they come from different religions and regions of Lebanon. 85% of the Lebanese population are considered poor now after the economic crisis! I am sure not all the dancers are Christians.

I have watched AGT for the past 8 years, and this is by far the most vegas worthy performance I have ever seen. They blow me away every single time they preform! Their dances are always so satisfying to watch, especially this one with the way it was choreographed!! So so proud that they won, this was well deserved. By far the most amazing act I've seen on AGT, and especially out of all the dance acts. Their choreo was different compared to anything I've seen. Their synchronicity is amazing!!!! Cant wait for the future for these ladies :)

Yeah this is world class stuff. Easily on Cirque du Solei level or beyond. This is the kind of performance you do for a world leader on a special occasion.
I adored them from their first dance on AGT. Extraordinary.... And they continued to get better and better.

This act is spectacular to watch on TV...I can't begin to imagine how unbelievable it is to watch in person. if the Mayyas don't win (and I sure hope they do!) can someone PLEASE book these ladies on a tour so we can all enjoy them in person!?????! What a gorgeous performance. Flawless.

No one will ever come close to this performance. They are the best act to air on agt. They are Unbeatable and the world will change after this performance. Arab music, dancing, and clothing is the most beautiful ive ever seen. I cant fully describe how i feel.

They are initially mimicking the Cedar Tree of Lebanon in the snow. Just amazing. Breathtaking
This culture is absolutely beautiful, and the way they were able to dance, and perfectly time everything is extraordinary. I adore the Mayyas. This is just, amazing.

This by far is genuinely the most amazing dance sequence I have EVER seen.
I've seen Cirque du Soleil live 3 times. Mayyas are as polished, are as precise, are as visually exciting and mesmerizing as any Cirque Du Soleil production. They are all Vegas ready

Of course no one denies the position Egypt has in Arabic music and movie industry, but other Arabic countries have also rich cultures and music registers! I personally felt more Syrian vibes in this music than Egyptian vibes, then they’re not belly dancing exclusively here, the belly dance more known to be Egyptian is 10% of the choreography! And I am Tunisian fun of both Egyptian and middle eastern music varieties!

Not saying the aren't good but the mayyas already won Arabs got talent... You should be allowed to audition in AGT if you've already won in the Arab version of the show. You also shouldn't be allowed to audition unless you currently live in America since it is AMERICAS got talent.

@@dinahu.s.a.2663 Both they and Kristy Sellars had less than a week to practice new routines after qualifying together from the fifth semifinal, and they ended up as the final 2 in the finale!
I thought I was dreaming while watching these incredibly talented dancers. They brought us to a different dimension! 👌👌👌👏👏👏👏🌹🌹🌹🌹
Considering less than a week of preparation, this was an unbelievably amazing act! To be in sync with a new dance in such a short time with 36 dancers is something beyond my imagination!!!

Actually...Nadime, the head of the group said last week that they already prepared for the final dance and he was hoping to be astonishing.
THIS ACT WAS EVERYTHING!! I was just watching this act with my family and my younger sister turns around after it finished with tears in her eyes and says she's never going to forget that moment. Thank you, Mayyas, for giving us this special moment together. Please win so we could all go to Vegas! I promise to come watch if you win! 😭😭😭🤩🤩❤️

The choreography, the precision, the dedication to their craft make this incredibly tasteful.
There's nothing like this group that I've ever seen. Unique. Talented. Gorgeous. Totally in sync as one. Incredible. I'm kind of obsessed with them now as I follow them in every social media account! ♥️ Lebanon has a special place in my heart and this team touches on that as well.

Look for Mitsi dancing school AGT 9 years ago- also thousand hands. This form of finger dancing is from the Chinese/ Thai culture.

The amount of hard work that each and every one of these women put into this art of a dance really does show. Its amazing. The choreographer is totally insane, in the best possible sense, and the women give perfect performances. Every time I see them I'm an stunned and all I can say is.......................WOW!!! In this one they give a whole new fantastic meaning to the term - Fan dance.
They need a world tour for this world class performance
This is real pure absolutely out of the world talent. Real original and magical. Iam glad that they won.
I loved the music, i loved the symbolism: the snow capped mountain, the cedar tree, the dove of peace and i loved the most how they merged western and eastern cultures in music and dance. and all in just one week. this group is incredible and phenomenal

Not saying the aren't good but the mayyas already won Arabs got talent... You should be allowed to audition in AGT if you've already won in the Arab version of the show. You also shouldn't be allowed to audition unless you currently live in America since it is AMERICAS got talent.

@@The_Original_Alex_Channel I see what you’re saying and I don’t disagree, however, there are about 3 or 4 other acts competing this year who won other versions of AGT such as Sara James, Kristy Sellars etc. (both acts don’t live in America nor does the majority of the acts in the finals this season).. Americas Got Talent is the biggest stage in the world. Arabs got talent or any other stage can’t compare. All of these acts have come here to perform on AGT for a chance to showcase their talents to a much wider audience.

@@bestchoice7435 nope. They didn't win in their initial season there. They won Champions. AGT received a ton of backlash because it was clear by the online community v unbeatable were getting the most views and votes. After they lost AGT viewership dropped. AGT brought them back for champions and that's when they won.
